FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answers before we get to work.

Here are the practical details about our services, scheduling and estimates.

Maintained lawn in the Georgetown area

GOOD TO KNOW

Mowing & scheduling

What is included in a mowing visit?

We mow the lawn, string trim around trees, posts, fences and beds, edge sidewalks, patios and driveways, and blow clippings off hard surfaces. We do not bag grass clippings.

Do you offer weekly or biweekly mowing?

Yes. We offer both schedules without a long-term contract. Weekly visits move to biweekly during winter; biweekly visits remain biweekly.

What if rain delays a visit?

We can work in mild rain, but heavy rain may require us to move the visit. We’ll communicate the change and return as soon as the route allows. After several rainy days, crews may work a weekend to catch up.

What happens around holidays?

If a holiday affects your regular day, we’ll tell you about the schedule change and generally aim for a visit the day before or after. If you need service before a holiday, please reach out about a week ahead; availability is not guaranteed.

How are mowing quotes priced?

Mowing begins at $50. Lawn size is the main factor, and an overgrown lawn has an additional first-cut fee. We can usually measure the lawn online and respond within a few hours during weekday business hours.

GOOD TO KNOW

Sod installation

Which sod do you install?

We install Tifway 419 Bermuda and Palisades Zoysia and can source other Zoysia varieties on request. We often recommend Zoysia in this area, but sunlight and the conditions at your property guide the choice.

How do you prepare the ground?

We cut existing weeds or grass down to soil level with a string trimmer, till when needed and add sod soil mix. We lay the sod in a staggered pattern, address irrigation adjustments needed for installation and water it in.

What warranty comes with sod?

We stand behind correct installation and sod that is healthy when installed. Sod is perishable and its establishment depends on aftercare and site conditions, so we do not offer a longer establishment warranty.

GOOD TO KNOW

Landscape projects

Can I book a stand-alone bed or mulch project?

Yes. Shrub trimming, flowerbed cleanup, mulch and gravel work are available as individual jobs. We also take on commercial properties.

Do you provide fertilization, weed-control treatments or irrigation service?

We do not currently offer those services separately. Irrigation adjustments needed during a sod installation are handled as part of that project.

Are deposits required for projects?

Projects require a deposit. We’ll explain the amount and schedule in the estimate before work begins.

GOOD TO KNOW

Getting started & payment

Do you have a minimum charge?

We do not have a separate minimum charge. Mowing prices start at $50 and vary mainly with lawn size.

Do I need a card on file?

Yes. We require a card on file before accepting an estimate. We normally process payment on the Monday after service. For large projects, we prefer payment by check.

How much notice do you need to cancel a service?

Please let us know at least 48 hours before the scheduled visit so we can adjust the route.

Where do you work?

Our city service areas are Georgetown, Liberty Hill and Florence, including nearby neighborhoods such as Sun City, Rancho Sienna and Cimarron Hills. Send your address so we can confirm availability.
